>>UPDATE #2: Sources reporting that two of the Firefighters will be released this evening and the third will be flown to Augusta due to burns on his hands. >>UPDATE #1: Sources reporting that all 3 Firefighters were sitting up and talking to EMS. 1 has a severe laceration to one of his hands and burns. The other 2 had only burns. All were transported to MUSC.
Reports are coming in that 3 Firefighters were hurt in a house fire at 8582 Purity Drive. The 1.5 story wood frame was well involved upon arrival. We know that 1 Firefighter is being airlifted and 2 others are being ground transported. We will post more as it becomes available.
