NORTH CHARLESTON - The North Charleston Fire Department released their names to the media. They are Fire Captain Robbie Odom, Firefighter John Bolton, and Firefighter Antwon Green.
The North Charleston Fire Department had been fighting a structure fire at 8582 Purity Lane in Baker Plantation when something went wrong and the three men had to evacuate the house. Two went out of a second story window while the third made it to the stairs and left the residence.
Captain Odom has been with the NCFD for 10 years. Firefighter Antwon Green has been in the department for 5 years and Firefighter John Odom has been with the department since February 2009.
Captain Odom and Firefighter Green were both released from the Medical University Hospital after the fire.
Firefighter Bolton was transferred to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, GA for treatment of injuries to his hand.
