SPARTANBURG - Three Fire Departments battled a commercial building fire late Wednesday night. Palmetto Stones LLC, a granite warehouse, was gutted in parted of the structure as well as part of the roof being collapsed. Officials said Thursday morning the fire is considered suspicious.
The fire destroyed about 10% of the building. Firefighters were still on scene early Thursday morning performing salvage and overhaul.
It is reported that the building itself was not insured, however all of the contents were.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported from this fire.
