BEAUFORT — The Beaufort Fire Department announced Tuesday that John Robinson, a 10-year veteran of the city’s fire service, will be its new training education officer.
Robinson, who will be promoted from lieutenant to captain, will present fire and safety education programs to the public and other firefighters, according to city officials.
“Capt. Robinson is an excellent firefighter, an engaging teacher and someone who knows how to lead by example,” Fire Chief Sammy Negron said in a news release. “We are fortunate to have him with the Beaufort Fire Department, and we are pleased to announce this promotion.” (more…)
