PICKENS COUNTY — The Pickens County Coroner is expected to examine the body on Thursday of an 83-year-old man killed in a traffic accident.
Theodore Raymond Blanton, of Maple Court in Liberty, was involved in a wreck just before 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to Coroner Kandy Kelley.
Blanton was driving a 1999 4-door Buick and was attempting to make a left turn onto U.S. 178 from Odell Road, five miles south of Pickens, according to the Highway Patrol. (more…)
