Fire Destroys Home

ANDERSON COUNTY — Firefighters responded Thursday to a fire at an unoccupied home on Generostee Church Road that authorities are treating as suspicious. The fire did not result in any reported injuries and has not been ruled arson, said Anderson County Fire Chief Billy Gibson. Firefighters were called to the scene off U.S. 29 in Anderson County close to the Georgia state line around 6 a.m. Thursday, said Capt. Dale Fulton of the Williford Fire Department. (more…)
