GEORGETOWN — Volunteer firefighters are being sought to increase the ranks among the Georgetown Fire Department, according to officials.
On Monday, city fire officials announced today “a massive campaign to recruit volunteer firefighters,” Fire Chief Joey Tanner said.
“We’re looking for anyone who wants to be a part of a team to help the community,” Tanner said. Volunteers will receive basic firefighting training to include structural firefighting skills, basic first aid and CPR, he said. (more…)
